On General

The main objective of the programme is to grow and scale SEs with an innovative/sustainable business model through a personalised capacity building and skills development training programme.

It is a 5-week programme followed by 6 months of implementation and 6 months of reporting and monitoring.

The programme is going to run in MaGIC, Cyberjaya.

Yes, participants need to commit their full-time for this programme.

You should be able to send 2 representatives (founder and co-founder or team member) to fully commit for the 5-week programme.

A team member is a full-time staff at your organisation.

SEs must be at least one year in operation by the start of September.

On Terminology

A Social Enterprise is a business entity that is registered under any written law in Malaysia that proactively creates positive social or environmental impact in a way that is financially sustainable.

A social issue is defined as a societal problem that is rooted in social behaviour and negatively influences certain groups of individuals within a society.

Social impact-driven is an organisation’s actions on the wellbeing of the community of a sustainable business relative to society and social justice.

Financially sustainable is the ability to generate a higher revenue compared to the operating cost.

A beneficiary is any person who gains an advantage and/or profits from the social impact.

Unfortunately at this moment, PUSH is open for Malaysians only.

No fees are imposed on applicants.

Online applications will be open on 2nd March 2020.

Yes, you will receive a notification via email. You can focus on gaining more validation and apply to other relevant MaGIC programmes.
