About the Job

As the Marketing Lead, you will have the opportunity to help shape how we reach and interact with our customers, creating inspiring and compelling campaigns, resources and experiences that demonstrate how Dropee’s products can help their businesses. To do this, you’ll be counted on to work cross-functionally across sales, comms, and product, legal, engineering and more.

You will have relevant experience with and a passion for content marketing, demand generation, account-based marketing, and designing and executing marketing campaigns. You’ll be able to help set our field marketing strategy, as well as roll up your sleeves to execute on it. Your tasks include the ideation, development and execution of our thought leadership content and social media strategy. In addition, you’ll develop & own our monthly newsletter and provide strategic support for any Dropee related events.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with sales and understand our users and audiences in order to develop field marketing priorities and effective field marketing programs.
  2. Understand Dropee’s brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging.
  3. Understand our audiences and decision makers and create messaging and content resources they need to better understand Dropee’s offerings and benefits. This may include research and reports, guides, videos, case studies and presentations.
  4. Develop & execute content & social media strategy across all Dropee channels.
  5. Create & own our monthly newsletters to inspire our audiences with the latest from Dropee.
  6. Plan and execute marketing programs to drive awareness among audiences beyond developers and startups, generate leads and accelerate pipeline.
  7. Programs can include but are not limited to outbound email and direct mail campaigns, webinars, partner activities, content marketing, account-based marketing and working closely with the events team on Dropee events and third party events.
  8. Be responsible for tracking, measuring and communicating program results
  9. Support Dropee event experiences, at Dropee events along with third-party events via guest list management, email marketing support, event landing page design, copywriting and event support as necessary
  10. Provide onsite event support and other duties as necessary

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in content marketing, digital marketing, and/or communications-related field
  2. Hands on knowledge of social media platforms; proven success in managing a blog & social media and day to day activities
  3. You are an expert storyteller and marketer – you’re collaborative, proactive, creative, entrepreneurial, have a healthy appetite for feedback and thrive in high-pressure situations
  4. Excellent verbal communication, strong organizational and multitasking skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills
  5. Analytical, with the ability to capture and share key data and insights and use data to drive key marketing strategies and decisions
  6. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), & Google Apps
  7. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
