So you’ve got an idea for an app? Or perhaps building a mobile app for the first time? You might be asking yourself these questions:

  • Is it worthwhile?
  • Does it make sense?
  • How will people know about it?

The single most important factor to launch a successful app is solving a problem. Let us start with the problems popular apps are solving currently:

  • Facebook: Great for staying in touch and keeping up with your close friend and loved ones lives, killing time, and connecting with friends
  • SnapChat: Kinda does the same, except that it has an instant photo sharing capability
  • Trello: A popular to-do management app that helps you organize your time, tasks, documents and notes.
  • FarmVille: A popular digital farming game that helps you kill time and brings sense of excitement and achievement
  • Headspace: A popular mindfulness meditation app that helps you get “headspace” and gives you sense of calmness

Launching an app is not easy, but it is also probably not as hard as you think.

Join us for this two (2) hours workshop with Samuel Agianpuye from Puye Tech who will take you through the whole process of mobile app development from ideation, validation, design, development and marketing of your app – even if you don’t have any technical or marketing background.
