Grill or Chill (GoC) is a platform for startups to showcase their product and get valuable feedback from experts in the startup ecosystem. Each GoC ends with a networking session where you can mingle and connect with other entrepreneurs in a cozy environment.

How does it work?
Each startup to be grilled are given 10 minutes:

Mohamed Yusnee Rahmat Mohd Yusof is the Director of ASEAN Centre of Entrepreneurship (ACE) at Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC). The unit offers a comprehensive platform that provides startup support services for entrepreneurs to grow their business beyond borders. It is the first of it’s kind to provide such platform for Malaysian startup. It also collaborate with multiple agencies and has a strong ASEAN startup community ecosystem.
Yusnee comes from a diverse background with over 20 years in business development and sales in various industries ranging from banking, IT services and market research. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from MARA University of Technology Malaysia.
His entrepreneurship journey started back in year 2000 when he setup his own IT services company focusing on document management system and scanning services. In 2006 he sold off his company and join Fuji Xerox Malaysia. He strongly believes that a combination of factor including a strong team, a good business model and proper execution, along with financial support are vital to grow a successful business.
Prior to joining MaGIC, Yusnee was a Director of business development and sales at International Data Corporation (IDC), an international market research company which focusing on information and communication technology. He deals with major Telco companies and various government agencies in terms of market intelligence pertaining to emerging technology and market opportunities.
A graduate of Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He was with Maybank, in Group Strategy and Transformation department. That didn’t stop Rickson’s passion in Technology to invent something that will benefit the common folks. Early 2015, He founded Tourplus. Tourplus’s vision is to make travel easier. He created a platform that allows anyone to share their travel itinerary and experience. This allowed registered users of Tourplus to customise, write and share their travels with friends and others. He embrace the culture of Startup, that is – Passion, Vision, Dream and Teamwork.
Wearing many hats and armed with Msc in Information Management and Degree in Mass Communication-Broadcasting from Mara University of Technology where he was the best student in his class, Iskandar Md Sah is the inspiration behind Jetpack with an accumulated 18 years of background in Advertising, Hype Management, Broadcasting and Digital.
He runs Jetpack operations and leads community development. He was the first to recognise the potential for coworking on Langkawi and closed down his Jetpack operations in KL to focus on Langkawi. Prior to HCL – He also was the CMO for thevocket.com – Malaysian answer to Buzzfeed with an outstanding Pageviews of almost 150 million since inception in June 2014 todate and recently acquired by Media Prima – Malaysia largest Media Conglomerate at MYR2.6 million.
