Grill or Chill (GoC) is a platform for startups to showcase their product and get valuable feedback from experts in the startup ecosystem. Each GoC ends with a networking session where you can mingle and connect with other entrepreneurs in a cozy environment.
April theme is Mobility. Will technological advances and shifts in social attitudes lead to our no longer owning or driving vehicles? The global auto industry’s transformation has far-reaching implications for how we move from point A to point B and, in turn, affects carmakers, energy companies, insurers, healthcare, government funding, and more. Value shifts as a new ecosystem of mobility emerge.

Bostami Ahmad is a vehicle designer with more than 10 years industry experience working and collaborating with various brands worldwide. He is active as a designer in the field of automotive, aerospace, robotics, concept art and product design.
Previously he was the lead designer at Proton where he involves in designing the award-winning Proton Iriz, Proton Tuah Concept and the latest Proton Perdana. He had Masters in Car & Transportation Design at SPD Milan, Italy with scholarship from Lamborghini.
Prior to the previous experience, he founded Bostami Designworks – a design consultancies and served as a Specialist at Multimedia University.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI). Represents the Government & Stakeholders of Malaysian Automotive Industry on Industry 4.0 business digital transformation, technology, digital engineering & smart engineering/manufacturing. Lead the I4.0 assessment & implementation of enterprise network & process integration to 9 pillars of Industry 4.0. Has a background in Software Engineering & Mobility Infrastructure, Agile & Knowledge Management System.
Involved in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) under UNECE for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29) for automated drive, telematics implementation, simulation & augmented reality. Lead on the services and new mobility functions that make transport and travelling safer, green, more efficient. Include applications that use data from other vehicles, from the infrastructure or from a backend (cloud) to provide information about dangers and obstacles on the road, as well as entirely novel functions in the fields of journey, fleet and traffic management.
Has years of experience in I.T & Automotive Industry, Passion on changing the way the world works from a range of scope such as engineering, services, training/talents development & manufacturing. Combining experience between Big Data Analytics, Agile/Knowledge Management, Lean Production System (LPS), I.T & Engineering together with organisations and entrepreneurs that are keeping abreast with the latest technological development and having the creative and innovative abilities to exploit technologies on helping the Auto sector moving into high gear for the future of next-gen vehicle, automotive industrial arena & industry 4.0 implementation.
