Cash is a part of capital and it runs like blood in our body. Company turns its capital/cash to goods, stock and also a monthly commitment (e.g. salary, rental, electricity, phone bill, water, and various authority fess) while in need of waiting for customer to pay them.
Factoring/Invoice financing is a solution for the opportunity loss when a cash shortage situation occurs simultaneously with a new job opportunity. Time is money and one should not sit around waiting for customer to pay in order to do the next job. Waiting is not an option, and if one does, the economy will generate less GDP as a whole and wealth created for the stakeholders of company will be reduce.
As the company expand its business, it needs more factoring facilities (cash) because the cash has been collected from customers is being put back to work in order to make more profit (so that the capital get stronger). By using the factoring facilities, the company’s capital growth increase from time to time.
