Derren Joseph, is an EA (Enrolled Agent – license # 00100858-EA) who has been admitted to practice before the IRS and is an associate member of the American Institute of CPAs (#7920958). Derren holds 2 Masters degrees in Economics, a Certified Diploma from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the UK) and has completed advanced Tax coursework at both New York University and the University of London.
Derren has done work for large, listed companies as well as Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). He also has over 15 years’ experience in financial and econometric modelling with British, American, & Caribbean companies. Derren’s experience includes Senior or Director-level roles, at companies such as British Airways, Expedia and Caribbean Airlines.
Derren has written extensively on economic and tax issues including being published with the Singapore Business Review, Forbes Asia, the American Chamber of Commerce, the International Business Structuring Association, Offshore Alert and the (Trinidad) Guardian. Since 2007, Derren has been advising on cross border tax issues in the Caribbean, the U.K., and Miami, FL. His specialty is navigating US tax laws.
A Partner in Hayden T Joseph & Co. (offices in the US, UK and Singapore), Derren also manages the U.S. Tax Desk of the Moores Rowland Asian Pacific network of firms, with over 25 offices in 10 Asian countries. He has given seminars on tax issues in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, The Philippines, Hong Kong and the Caribbean.
