This is an experiential and practical workshop and you will be working on something of your own – not a simulation or a practice run. Bring along an existing issue or situation you are facing and start working on it in this two-day workshop. Take home the templates and easy to use tools for you to continue your innovation.
1. Introduction to Design Thinking
Participants will be introduced to the 5W1H ( What, Why, When, Where, Who and How) of Design Thinking and apply the same concept to increase user experience, drive organic growth and innovation
2. Mindset of a Design Thinker
Participants will appreciate the Design Thinker mindset as an entrepreneur and how does by using a design thinker that, an entrepreneur would be able to increase the value of their product and services.
3. Phases in Design Thinking
Participants will be introduced to the 5 stages of design thinking and the practical implementation of a simpler 3 phase version.
4. IDEA Web : Design Challenge
This highly experiential practice provides participants with a template to identify and validate their challenge statement.
5. IDEA Studio : Ideate Challenge
Provide participants with a template to ideate their challenge statement and to produce a prototype of their solution.
6. Improvement Lab
Provide participants with the process validating and iterating their prototype solution.
7. Bonus module – Essential Tools
Proving tools to engage and foster group dynamics and creativity ie. tools for Brainstorming, Rapid Prototyping, Idea Generation, Insight Gathering etc
Entrepreneurs, founders of newly established enterprises (less than 3 months old), entrepreneurs who would like to improve their products, customer experience innovators, and curious individuals and would like to learn more about the design thinking process and tools.
The program will be based on the philosophy of Accelerated Learning, which includes: Interactive lectures, graphic facilitation, group work, simulation, reflective practices, simulation, and game-based learning.
Participants may be required to complete pre-program work. The work will be emailed upon registration and shall consist of various different tasks.

Yasmin is co-founder and Managing Director of neOOne Associates Sdn. Bhd. She has been involved in learning and development since 2005 and has consulted and served both MNCs and various Government agencies. She is instrumental in the development of the Accelerated Learning Practice in Malaysia and is presently one of the leading practitioners in the country. Tze Yasmin obtained her Masters in the Technopreneurship & Innovation Program (MSc. TIP) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. She also obtained her BSc in Instrumentation Science from University Putra Malaysia (UPM).

Juara has been a publisher for more than 25 years, and is a co-founder of neOOne Associates Sdn Bhd, a human potential solutions provider. His involvement in the Malaysian National Service Program (MNSP) from 2003 to 2016, as coach, trainer and designer has been the cornerstone of his training experience. This vast experience has enabled him to turn his passion in coaching into supporting MNC’s and government agencies to adopt coaching culture for organisational development.
His experience in implementing a coaching culture in organisations includes work with Lafarge Cement, Dutch Lady, SME Bank, Bank Rakyat, BSN, MBO, Selangor Tither Agency and MNSP. Juara graduated from Loughborough University of Technology, with a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Chemical Engineering and obtained his diploma in Ontological Coaching from Newfield Network, USA. He is a member of International Association of Coaching (IAC) Malaysian Chapter and a life member of the National Writers Association of Malaysia (PENA). He is presently the secretary of Malaysian Association of Facilitators (MAFa).
